Wills and Living Wills

A will is a legal declaration by which a person names one or more persons to manage his or her estate and provides for the distribution of his or her property at death. A written will lets you decide what happens to your money and property after you die, while a living will lets you decide whether or not you wish to be placed on a medical life support system if you become disabled or incapacitated.

In New Jersey, any person over the age of majority and having appropriate mental capacity, can draft his or her own will. The attorneys at Young & Perez will meet with you and discuss:

  1. Transfer of assets in the Will and Outside the Will
  2. Appointment of Executor/Executrix
  3. Beneficiaries
  4. Trusts for Children and Adults
